Martin has 27 years of experience in the public affairs and market research industry, including seven years at Ipsos-Reid where he was a Vice President in the Public Affairs Group and sixteen years at the helm of his own company. He specializes in design and analysis of quantitative, qualitative and hybrid data. He is an accomplished statistical analyst and focus group moderator.
Since 1992 Martin has led over 800 hundred research projects including both quantitative and qualitative work. Currently, Martin provides research-related advice and assistance to organizations such as Health Canada, Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Treasury Board Secretariat, Canadian Food Inspection Agency, McDonald’s, Meridian Credit Union, University of Ottawa, University of Saint Paul, Tarion Warranty Corporation, The Global Fund for Women, the International Association for Women’s Rights in Development, Facebook, CHPC, and a variety of small organizations in the private and non-government sectors.
Martin holds a degree in Political Science from Dalhousie University and has studied advanced research methods at the graduate level at Carleton University. He lives and works in Ottawa.
